Machine Learning Engineer (Artificial Intelligence Studio)

Our mission as a team is to develop, integrate and deliver machine learning-based solutions for solving real world situations together with an elite team with strong expertise on specific areas and knowledge in all ML fields. The main project we are working on focuses on Computer Vision for a revolutionary company acting in the waste management field, based in The United States.

We are looking for an analytical, collaborative, and dependable Machine Learning Engineer to work on everything related to the quality of our delivery.

We work with state of the art edge solutions in order to process huge amounts of data taken from the field. Moreover, our algorithms have to be validated, integrated, monitored, and scaled by employing compute capacity from cloud providers.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Propose and implement solutions using Machine Learning techniques in solving different real-world problems

• Take part in the DevOps process in order to deploy the solution in a scalable and cost-efficient manner

• Research for new Artificial Intelligence technologies that can be used in current projects

• Research for new Artificial Intelligence technologies that can be used in current projects

We envision our dream person for this job to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, engineering, applied mathematics, or equivalent experience

• Good knowledge of Artificial Intelligence domain: machine learning, deep learning (3+ years)

• Strong client communication skills (structure, clarity, longer-term vision, team coordination, prioritization)

• General skills related to Artificial Intelligence: algorithms, mathematics/statistics, data analysis

• Programming experience: Python, serving models, REST services

• Working experience with machine learning frameworks, like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch

• Working experience with UNIX systems: Linux or macOS

• Strong communication and team-working skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer

• Strong analytical ability and problem analysis techniques

• Advanced English skills

Pluses:

• Computer vision related skills. Familiarity with CV libraries: OpenCV, Scikit-image

• Natural language processing knowledge and tools: nltk, spacy, gensim

• Experience with cloud providers: AWS (preferred), Azure or Google Cloud

• Knowledgeable about Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, No SQL) and RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLlite)

• Experience with deploying machine learning based solution to cloud and devices
